373 Commonwealth Avenue was the first building owned by Emerson College. It was purchased in 1929. Formerly known as the Ericson Hotel, it served as the women's residence hall until 1960, when it was sold to facilitate the purchase of another residence hall at 100 Beacon. [84712] |
